Jessica Lynch Topless. That's the breaking news this week - the female soldier who became famous during a mammoth rescue effort during the Iraq war has apparently appeared topless in photos which were bought by Hustler's Larry Flynt.

The topless photos of Jessica Lynch were originally purchased by Flynt for publication in Hustler, however within hours of buying them, Flynt declared he had no intention of publishing them, and had bought them merely to protect her.

At present it's not known if the only Jessica Lynch topless photos are still in the hands of Mr Flynt or if other topless photos of Jessica exist. It's also not known if Mr Flynt will keep his word and not publish the photos.

A spokesman for Jessica Lynch said the purchase of the topless photos was "unspeakable".

Jessica has recently been the subject of a book about her experiences in Iraq, written by a ghost writer, and she recently came out in public and said the book was erroneous in some areas.

The Iraqi doctors who looked after Jessica Lynch have also denied claims that she was ill treated while in Iraq.
